If you attend this course, you will also receive a reflective study journal.
The reflective study journal supports you with setting the right goals for your study. Included are monthly planners where you set reminders for the big events in the month ahead like an assignment deadline, group work meetings or an exam.

While you may be studying hard, you may not be studying smart. This course will support you in making small and lasting changes to your study patterns and routine.

This course is aimed for students who want support with their study.

Reflective Study Journal

The reflective study journal supports you with setting the right goals for your study. Included are monthly planners where you set reminders for the big events in the month ahead like an assignment deadline, group work meetings or an exam.

There is an opportunity to set weekly priorities for yourself to keep on track. The daily schedule is where you set out your goals for your study session and your timetable for study. Once your daily study is complete, there are some self-reflective prompts for you to complete. At the end of your study week there is a further opportunity for reflection on your week. Also, included are reflective prompts when you have done an exam or an assignment. These will prompt you to consider what worked well for you and what needs improving.

About Edel

 

Edel is a student and exam coach. She also specialises in mental health and well-being coaching. Her corporate career started in KPMG where qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. From there, Edel moved into Academia where she held senior lecturer and examinership roles within the professional accountancy bodies.

She lectured the advanced papers of Taxation and Finance for the ACCA, CPA and ACA. She lectured at an Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Masters level. She also held examiner positions with Chartered Accountants Ireland.

In 2017 Edel moved into Talent Development, which took her to work at EY where she held a Senior Talent Development Leadership position. She was involved in designing and delivering leadership development programs. She set up an internal coaching program which supported trainee accountants through their professional exams.

In 2022, Edel set up her own business, “Edel Walsh Coaching and Consultancy”. Edel is an accredited coach with the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).

Edel is passionate about connecting and collaborating with her clients in a deep and meaningful way that stimulates and encourages them to learn and live their best lives both personally and professionally. Edel supports her clients to develop self-awareness, set and achieve goals, gain confidence, and unlock their potential.
