Coping with Exam Pressure: Support for Parents

Exams can bring with them differing levels of stress and anxiety for both students and their parents or caregiver. For parents and caregivers, often you can see and feel the stress your teens are under. They might be worried about how much study they have done, their ability to recall information or how they will perform in their exam.

Parents and caregivers are not immune to “exam stress” either. Naturally, you don’t want to see your teen struggling and dealing with the pressure that exams might cause. On the other hand, a teen that is very relaxed about their upcoming exams may also cause stress for parents and caregivers.
