Description

The reflective study journal supports you with setting the right goals for your study. Included are monthly planners where you set reminders for the big events in the month ahead like an assignment deadline, group work meetings or an exam.   There is an opportunity to set weekly priorities for yourself to keep on track. The daily schedule is where you set out your goals for your study session and your timetable for study. Once your daily study is complete, there are some self-reflective prompts for you to complete. At the end of your study week there is a further opportunity for reflection on your week.  Also included are reflective prompts when you have done an exam or an assignment. These will prompt you to consider what worked well for you and what needs improving.   If you want to learn more about reflective learning, have a look at my blog post, “How can I bring productivity to Study?”  How Can I Bring Productivity to Study? | Edel Walsh

  1. Orla

I bought one of Edel’s reflective study recently as I was struggling with getting some structure around my study. I have found the journal to be great for planning and I find the prompts for me to think about study really useful. I would definitely recommend this journal for any students out there.

  2. David Maguire

I gave my niece a reflective journal for leaving cert and she was delighted with the structure and benefit it gave to her study.

  3. Teresa

I just started a Masters and I was gifted this Journal. I love it! It keeps me on track and helps me stay organised. Lovely present for yourself or others

  4. Bartosz

I have been using the Journal’s weekly and daily planner pages to keep me organized and properly focused. Each day I’m writing down my learning goals and the ways I can and want to achieve them. At the end of the day, I pause for a while to reflect on my day, thinking about my emotions and behaviors before and after the assignment. It helps me understand myself even better. As the examinations time is approaching, I am also now setting my “A” performance goals 😊

  5. Eimear

I was recently gifted this journal and I’m finding it great! I find it’s particularly useful to help keep me organised when planning study and so the late night cramming has thankfully been reduced!
